RadEye PRD - High Sensitivity Personal Radiation Detector
The RadEye PRD represents a high-performance measuring device for persons who are responsible for detecting and localizing radiation sources whether they be first preventers (border guards, customs agents, special forces and counter terrorism teams) or first responders (emergency services and law enforcement).

RadEye G - Wide Range Gamma Survey Meter for Personal Radiation Protection
The RadEye G is a lightweight and very rugged instrument designed for the quick and reliable measurement of the gamma dose rate. The RadEye G incorporates a large energy compensated GM-tube for the precise dose rate measurement for gamma and x-ray.

Rad Eye B20
The RadEye B20 is a modern compact multi-purpose contamination meter for alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation. By virtue of optional gamma energy filters, deep or shallow dose rate measurement from 17 - 1300 keV can be performed. For emergency response purposes alpha and beta contamination can be discriminated using another optional filter. The instrument is port of the growing RadEye family of high-end stand-alone meters, which are designed to exceed the most demanding user expectations.

Rad Eye N
High sensitivity for neutron radiation:

The Area Monitor is a RadEye application suitable for several different RadEye types. The following applications are possible:

• Highly sensitive alarm indication for radioactive gamma sources (RadEye PRD)
• Detection of neutron sources (RadEye N)

Smart Ion Digital Survey Meter
The Smart Ion is an advanced microcomputer-based instrument for the measurement of Gamma, Beta and X-ray radiation. It provides functions previously not available in meters of this type, including data logging, alarm, remote calibration and security features.

Operation is simple, reliable and maintenance-free, and the instrument is housed in a robust case. The instrument’s ion chamber has a capacity of 450 cm3. Measurement in mixed beta/gamma fields is simplified by the moveable beta shield, which is 550 mg cm-2 plastic. Zero adjustment is established by microcomputer control: pressing the Zero button engages a precision digital servo loop adjustment.

2130 Mini Ion Analog Ion Chamber Survey Meter
The 2130 Mini-ION is setting new standards in versatility, accuracy, operational simplicity and reliability, for the measurement of Gamma, Beta and X-ray radiation.  The instrument offers analog doserate display in five ranges, from 1.0 µSv/h to 500 mSv/h. It is intended for use in cost-sensitive applications where sophisticated features such as digital readout, data logging and auto ranging are not necessary.

The meter covers a wide gamma energy range from 10 keV to over 6 MeV and includes a movable window shield to facilitate gamma only measurement in mixed beta/gamma fields. The dose rate or dose value is displayed on a clearly scaled analogue meter. The 2130 will meet the majority of survey meter applications where mixed gamma and beta fields are encountered, for example, as found in nuclear power or fuel processing plants.

ASP-2e/NRD Neutron Survey Meter
The ASP-2e/NRD is a portable, battery-operated counter designed for the measurement of dose equivalent rate from neutrons (Rem).  The detector employed is a 9-inch diameter, cadmium loaded polyethylene sphere with a BF3 tube in the center.  

This detector has been shown to have a response, which closely follows theoretical dose equivalent from neutrons over the energy range from 0.0025 eV (thermal) to about 10 MeV.  The BF3 tube additionally provides excellent gamma rejection. A dual analog/digital display facilitates the measurement process by presenting informative data in an optimum format.  The instrument has a built-in speaker, serial port for PC setup and calibration, and an easy access external battery compartment to facilitate battery replacement.

Interceptor
Thermo’s new state-of-the-art Interceptor™ is the next generation of personal PRD+RIID instruments for rapid detection and identification of radioactive materials. The high intensity status LED is visible from both top & front with a large, bright, full color ¼ QVGA TFT display that can rotate 180º at the touch of a button for easy viewing at any angle. The Interceptor also features a loudspeaker for alarm tones, with a proportional tactile alarm.

The Interceptor can be equipped with a Bluetooth wireless module for immediate reach-back analysis via cell phone or satellite phone to the experts. It also allows event recording with optional built-in VGA resolution digital camera and built-in microphone and voice recorder. The 64MB SD memory card facilitates secure storing of many thousands of results.

identiFINDER
identiFINDER™ is a user-friendly instrument that identifies man-made and natural radionuclides and combines high sensitivity with a wide dose rate range. The instrument is a dual purposes design to facilitate locating missing or offending sources and then identifying the source via its gamma spectrometry and nuclide identification capability.

identiFINDER™ is a complete digital gamma spectroscopy and dose rate system. It integrates multi-channel analyzer, amplifier, high voltage power supply, and memory with an integral scintillation and GM detector. identiFINDER™ is ideally suited for homeland security, industrial, medical, nuclear power generation and nuclear fuel cycle applications. IdentiFINDER connected to a desktop or notebook PC, the unit provides qualitative and quantitative in-situ analysis with optional TMCA-pro software. Up to 50 spectra of 1024 channels can be stored in the unit and directly transferred to any PC for further and advanced analysis.

identiFINDER-X
This is a telescope version of the identiFINDER for detection of objects up to 2.2m distances for trucks, trains and containers.

IdentiFINDER-X is suited for remote applications, advanced warning systems, hazardous environments and nuclear inventory monitoring. It is supplied with NaI (TL) detector 31 x 38 mm (1.2 x 1.5"). An optional 3He neutron detector is available on the NaI/ 3He model as well as a GM tube for extended dose rate range.

identiFINDER Ultra
New Generation, Multi-purpose Hand-Held Radioisotope Identification Device with LED stabilization. The identiFINDER™ ULTRA (idF-UL-NG) incorporates a unique method of stabilization that does not require a radioactive source of any type:

• Stabilization of the photo multiplier tube (PMT) gain is accomplished by means of a pulsed LED.
• Measurement of the effective NaI(Tl) crystal temperature is determined by pulse shape analysis.
• Gain shifts due to the measured temperature changes of the crystal are corrected.

Raider
The ICx Radiation Raider is a state-of-the-art handheld instrument in a class of its own.  It uniquely meets or exceeds the performance requirements of ANSI N42-34 (RIID) and ANSI N42-48 (SPRD) standards. The instrument utilizes an innovative array of solid-state CZT detectors and (optional) He3 tubes to provide superior gamma and neutron sensitivities resulting in a rapid identification and verification of radioactive materials.

The Raider is small enough and light enough to be held and operated with one hand and can be conveniently clipped to the user’s belt in the holster provided. Four buttons, two on each side, are all that are required to access every feature of this instrument.  It is both water and drop resistant, making it rugged and ideal for strenuous operating situations.
